US Petroleum IF YOU PAY CASH WATCH THE METER!! Commack New York
It's not the actual business, but one young guy that works at this station that is doing all the ripping off. It happened to me three times with this one guy (unfortunately I don't know his name, but it's definitely not the older guys that work there). I always ask for $20 regular gas in cash. The first time, he pumped the gas, I paid, and when I left I thought it was strange that my mileage range only went up to 95 miles. My son told me to watch the meter at the station when it's pumping. I go again next time, get the same guy, and watched the meter. Again, I had asked for $20 in cash. It stopped at $14. If I hadn't been looking, he would have removed the nozzle and taken the $20, but I called him over and "reminded" him I asked for $20. The third time I went, again I asked for $20, and this time he literally stood in front of the meter so I couldn't see, and again when I left, I didn't have the proper mileage range I should have for $20 worth. I went to a different station the next time, asked for $20, and my mileage range was twice the amount! I was so mad I went back to US Petroleum looking for an owner/manager, but it was only this young guy and and older man who work as attendants. Of course the guy denied it. Turns out he's the nephew of the owner, so I don't know if he's just stealing from customers himself or if they're in it together. They may be the cheapest gas around, but not if you're not getting what you pay for! He may have kept doing it with me because I'm a woman and he thinks I wouldn't know better. Other women may be getting ripped off all the time here. BEWARE!!!
