US Movers Tal Amedy ripoff Hollywood California
DO NOT BELIVE WHAT YOU ARE TOLD OVER THE PHONE .....
I had just graduated college and was moving to persue my career. I was going to rent a U-haul but when i was on the net i enter this moving web site and they called me the next day.
They asked me how much stuff i had to move and i said it was around 1000 pounds. A couch,loveseat, two beds, a dresser and my entertainment center. The ladie said it would be $780. So i went with it.
Once they came to my house and loaded everything up the guy told me it would be close to two-thousand dollars. He figured the wieght by how much room it took up in the back of the truck not the actual weight.
I told him to unload my stuff right there but he said he wouldn't. He then told me he would take my stuff to the scales. He did and game me a new price of 1600$. So i told them i was getting a truck and coming to pick up my stuff and weigh it myself. He then told me it was going to cost 700$ just for them to do that. I finally just scrapped all the cash i had and pay them to move it for me. I took some stuff off hoping it would save some money on the cost. They dropped to price 100$.
