Erik Manuevo is what's wrong with Upwork.com There are new policies in place where Upwork.com will limit your account even if you didn't make any offenses and the employer's account is flagged, they will flag yours as well. Upwork.com later suspened the employer's account even though they are a very reputable company in the LA area. They then suspended my account and did Escrow Reversals on all my projects totalling over $2000! I was then told that I needed to contact the employees directly and have them pay another way, when employees did this, their account was flagged and suspended even after the employees contacted support to ask them how to pay me.
Upwork.com is known for unethical business practices but this is the worst. Erik Manuevo, please read this and work on improving Upwork.com policies. Upwork.com is no longer safe if it's that easy to do a reversal on payments!
Freelancers, employees, be very careful when using Upwork.com. It's not a matter of if, it's the matter of when, according to these new Upwork.com policies.
