I have mailboxs with UPS in 3 different states and my longest one is 15 years old. I have been with this UPS store I have the issue with for almost 3 years. Well earlier this month I had major issues with not getting my text or email. I was expecting a letter from DMV and it was a time sensitive issue. I received an email a week after indicating they received a letter a week earlier. I am with TMobile and found out TMobile customers of the mailbox weren't getting any texts and it took me finding out for them to know their customers weren't receiving texts. I kept calling until I got the owner to look into the issue and he finally realized what it was. I ended up having to pay DMV late fees because I got that parcel late So when I got a call to pay my mailbox I asked for the late fees to be dropped he refused. So I asked for the number to corporate. He gave me a fax number I immediately called back and was told he was on the line calling corporate . He gets on the line and gives me the number to his friend someone that works with corporate it made it seem like it would have been biases had I reached out to Ronda. He made it seem like he was good friends with her, so when he gave me her cell number. I wondered if I file complaint with her will it really be filed? So I chose to file my complaint higher than her to ensure it's done. It's out of principle and the owner should be give his people that rent from him a little more empathy. If you think about it I should be asking for my DMV late fee not just my mailbox late fee, but I didn't I asked for the mailbox late to be removed around$10, because of my inconvenience, as a owner he should recognize it.  It's funny you want to state when my payment is due. If I want to pay my bills late and be accessed a late fee that up to me. My get my mail late isn't a choice. As I explained to corporate and I will you. If you miss some mail you could end up in jail. That means if I was waiting on documents from the court instead of DMV this conversation would be a lot different. If people miss their mail and end up in jail because of the mailbox people giving you your mail late. I would have file a lawsuit, so what your saying sounds stupid and it almost didn't deserve a rebuttal but I want people to understand this is more to this just your mail being late, it's more important than that, and I have business in different states and if you don't understand that, you probably have worked for someone your whole life and never had to run your own business. FYI, some people work for themselves and have customer in various states. W2 workers typically don't understand the concept of self employment. This post was for Tom the owner of this establishment.

It is amazing how you you see a bit of irony and hypocricy in your report.

As your claim is that they failed to provide you "timely" notification of a letter, so you are upset that they are not removing the mailbox late fee when you failed to pay them in a "timely" manner.  One would think that after 3 years with just this store you would know when your payment is due....right?

We also have to wonder why you would have 3 "mailboxes" in 3 different states dating back 15 years. I am sure you want to make sure you don't loose contact with people, but I would also imagine that in 15 years you had probably many opportunities to make sure everyone knows your new address.
