Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
After recieving a phone call one afternoon from a Uniway represeative advising that they were a new "wholesale " company here in the Charleston area and were extending their membership to those who live in the area and speaking with the female for a few minutes and being told they were like a Sams club ,I decided why not.But the old saying if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

My husband, daughter and myself pulled into their parking lot. At that moment we knew something was up. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt. So we went in to find a very very young and not so bright receptionist whom looked to be doodling on he paperwork. Well being in law enforcement my husband and I stated doing a once over and realized this company in no way could be legit.

I was concerend however by the Better Buisness Bureau placard that was hanging on their wall. Anyway while in the showroom we encounterd cheap remakes of various department store items that looked to be thrown in their and set up just prior to our arrival. The rude salesman was pushy and could not keep his train of thought .

After recieving the "Grand Tour" which excluded the area where the catalogs are kept we were informed of the price tag to " Be a member" 1699.00 yes sixteen hundred dollars to be allowed to purchase items only available to Uniway and you can make a 1 time payment in full or 15 payments of a mere 93.00 dollars a month just a 1 time fee. Amazing what will someone think of next. Just to let you know they did mention various names of buisness's that take advantage of you weather thats true or not is to be seen .But if I was a Walmart, Rooms to go or a lOWES .

I would be highly Irrate because just to name a few they specifically targeted you. Anyway I hope that no one else has to encounter these people .I really wonder how they wake up each day and look in the mirror?

UNIWAY in my humble opinion is what you make of it. if you use it you will get a great deal. also it is best if you own a home already. you can get great deals on carpet and other flooring. massive bedroom suites etc. even vehichles. it is really great. if you use it. i bought the membership. like a nut unable to use it at the time. there is a 75$ yearly renewal. i wasted my money not them. heck how many people pay Sams membership and only go once or twice a year i bet you did not really save more then you spent in the member fee. which means you lost or broke even. bottom line unless you are physicaly robbed no one can make you spend your money. take responsibility for your spending and wasting of time Amy,hush !

We had a co-worker ask us if we would go to a presentation for an outfit called Uniway... and as he was telling me about the services that were offered I was thinking MAJOR SCAM! Remembering the days of Multi-Level marketing, Amway and such. Skeptical but a little curious I agreed to go to the "presentation" and set up a meeting with the Uniway rep. Two days later we were sitting in this office listening to this salesman talking about all these products they could sell me at unheard of prices. In truth, the sales rep did kind of the "Krazy Bob Used Kar King" routine but I patiently listened and then asked for some examples. I was thinking crappy Wal-mart stuff or cheap Ikea knock-offs, as we had been looking for furniture and household items for our new place. The saleman then showed us some catalogs and then gave us a tour of the showroom, And I was amazed at the top quality merchandise. I mean this was great stuff! Well, I went ahead and whipped out the old checkbook and plunked down my $1500 and got the membership card and by that time the store was closing for the evening. That night I was cussing myself for blowing all that dough. So the next day I went to the 3 "Snob furniture stores" in town to look at their furniture offerings, being watched like a criminal/ shoplifter most of time "OH MY GAWD, IT'S A REDNECK IN A JOHN DEER CAP!" was probably the general thinking of the staff... So after my "window shopping" I headed back to Uniway to comparison shop with some of those name brands. At Uniway one of the same items had a LITERAL $4000 difference in price!!! (a solid mahogony armour) and similiar savings on the exact same brand/models of items in the"snob stores". Needless to say I recouped my initial $1500 membership fee and then some on my first order! I have since ordered many other times and saved so much money on high quality home furnishings that I probably could not have afforded otherwise that we have become spoiled to Uniway. This past Christmas we gave gifts worth $1200; our expense? about $325! What I'm getting at is if you can get though Uniways little presentation and get past that one-time high dollar fee, you will definately get your money's worth out of Uniway! But, the orders do sometimes take a while to get back to you. For example, we ordered a sofa with our specs on cloth, grade and material and with delays it took us 2 1/2 months to recieve it because of factory delays on production! But it was well worth the wait. We have been treated with the utmost repect and courtesy since we joined Uniway in 1997.

I fainted and fell and hit my head when I saw you came in here bragging about the hundreds of millions you boast of stealing from people under the guise of "sales". Let me set you straight: if people have to pay more than a thousand bucks to join your shady outfit, how can you claim they are buying items at cost? I have the answer: YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A FILTHY LIAR!

Uniway has been serving this area for the past 26 years. we have worked hard to earn a reputation as honest professionals that provide a quality service. members to date have purchased well over $250 million worth of merchandise through uniway. they took the same tour, purchased the same membership and have the same opportunity to save money that you do. after joining, they expect good service, saving and comparison shop just like you and I and if they did not get it they would not spend $250 million with us. We are not like Sams, we donot sell in bulk and do have big warehouses that members to pay for and we do not mark up the merchandise..at uniway you buy at cost. Uniway is like most opportuinties... you look for positives you will find positives you look for negitives you will find negitives. uniway is not for every body and everybody is not for uniway...thats one reason we are private. It sounds like you joined but never tried to take advantage of your membership. if you would like to learn more about how to get the most out of your membership please call me personally 843-552-7821 Director
