University of Findlay, Ohio Unethical Practice of Harrassing Students through Debt Collectors , Internet
It's been eight years since I left University of Findlay, which officially allowed me to transfer to another University after making sure that I do not owe a penny to them.
After few months of transferring they started sending letter to my old address demanding me to pay for classes for which I had never taken. After receiving several harassing letter from the University and clarified my status. In spite of the fact that I do not owe anything to them the official from the administration said that she cannot do anything since they have already handed this issue over to some debt collectors. In few weeks I started getting nasty calls from debt collectors which made me think that how can an education institution like University of Findlay associate themselves with such low level trash talking people. I was still patient and tried to clarify this to avoid further calls like this. I succeeded in it just to find out after few weeks I started receiving calls from new set of people who bought my case.
It's been eight years since I left University of Findlay and I was being very patient about it so far, but now I just want to warn any prospective students who is considering to enroll in this University to think twice. This is a very unethical institute which makes money by giving admission to anyone who can afford to pay and get a degree. They will try anything to get your money without offering any service. It is a shame that they consider themselves as educators. I did not want to write about it so far being a former student, but I cannot help it. Please think again, do not spend rest of your life answering calls of nasty trash talking debt collectors for the rest of your life. All the Best.
