I went to these guys hoping for a job. Well they were very nasty as soon as i walked in Beacouse i had my husband with me. They pretended to play with my son but i could tell.

They sat me down and talked for a while about jobs and how i would get background work maybe. and how they take 20% of whatever i would make and they said i would only make $75 for a while.

Well then they said i would need photos so i looked at the preveiw and then they said it would be over $500 buck for pictures and acting classes that i said i did not want.

But He just keep trying to talk me into it. So i told him i would talk to my husband who of course said what i did OVER $500 i dont think so. well we walked back into the room and i could not but help over hear his convo with another young girl.

She was asking how much it would be for new pictures because even the best one in hers was covering over half her face. I saw it and it was not a very good picture at all. well we said we could not pay it wich was true and we left.

I called the day after to see if i could get my picture back. It was from my wedding. I told them they could keep it because i had it on cd. But i lost the cd in my latest move so it was the only copy. well the lady who takes the calls was very rude and mean.

So i asked her to put him on the phone. he said i had to pay him $10 to get my picture back. Which i said i was not going to pay because im not comming back so i want my picture back.

He said i have to pay or else. So i had my uncle call him to see if he could get my picture back. He said the $10 was for the audition. But when we entered and left they Never said anything about $10 audititon fees.

He said i sign a contract with it in there. But the only thing i put my name on was the info contact sheet name number adress. So now i cant get my wedding picture back unless i pay them. I am pissed.

Thats my wedding picture and now there are no copies. I mean when i had my copies on cd that was no biggy but i dont so i would like it back wouldn't you?

so he called me on my cell and i lost signal. So then when i got signal i guess he called back and left a message. he said well you hung up on me i was going to tell you if you send in another picture i will give this one back but you had to have your husband or boy friend or whatever say they are going to sue us over $10 IF YOU WANT TO BULLSHIT US WE WILL BULLSHIT RIGHT BACK AT YOU!!!

Well my uncle never said anything like that he just said i lost my copy of my wedding pictures and that the man should give me back my pictureand that we were never told about the $10 fee. But that if he would show him the "contract" i so called signed we would be more then happy to pay it.

Well They never asked to give me a copy of this so called contract which is illegal. but they did not have any computers or a copy machine. If any one is thinking about going there please PLEASE dont you will just get ripped off .

Jim & John are rip-off guys big time and i will be sending this to the news too so all will know.

See the title above and to add one thing: Universal charges 15% commission, not the 20% which is written in the above claim.

I WAS INTERESTED IN GETTING STARTED IN ACTING. I NOTICED AN AD IN THE PAPER SO I RESPONDED TO IT. I WAS TOLD TO BRING A PICTURE IN OF MYSELF OR THEY CAN TAKE ONE OF ME FOR A CHARGE OF 10 DOLLARS. It says on the application for the interview you will need a picture, so i am confused why some women came into their office without 10 dollars or a picture that they can keep. let the moths out of your pocket girl, that is their program. it,s obvious that is their policy, for them to have a pic of each person that walks in their door, so if you did not want them keeping your wedding pic you should have brought another pic for them or given them the 10 dollars so they can take one of you. anyway my experience has been great with universal . i took acting lessons with them and the teacher was fantastic not to mention that i got a photo shoot and i,m really happy with my pics. i got a speaking part on a movie with denzil washington 2 lines and made a thousand dollars for the day, i gave universal talent their fifteen per cent , i had a blast and got my minutes of fame, thanks to universal talent. so if anyone tries to badmouth them i would definitely stick up for them. i am very grateful to them. one other thing i just did through universal was a verizon commercial and i had a blast i have been to other agencies but universal t has given me the opportunity to make some decent cash and have a BLAST.

I am a striving actor who started off with Universal Talent and was sent on many auditions as well as extra work. Anyone who is serious in the industry should know that you need a starting place. Not only have I been on many jobs, but I was also able to network and gain more access and knowledge of the business. I have now made many more contacts as well as a circle of friends who also keep an eye out for me for the work I would like to do. The pay might not be the greatest in the world, but if you think you are going to make thousands right off the bat, you are sadly mistaken. I recommend Universal Talent to anyone whom is trying to break through into the industry. Its a great start, and the fees are very reasonable. It worked for me. I still get calls to go work on projects, and its fun, exciting, and makes me some extra cash.
