United Health Care has consistantly denied medical coverage for my wife who has come down with lung disease. They claim its not a necessesity for her to have test done that the Dr says has to be done. She has nodules on her lung that he is concerned may be cancer. He also wants her to have a CPAP machine due to the lack of air she is getting in her sleep. She has never smoked a day in her life but the disease runs in her family. The claim was made 1st of November they denied several times until after January and now will cover it after we pay another deductable. They delibertly postpone coverage untill they can collect another deductable.

On other claims they refused to fill medication unless the Dr changed either the strength or the form the medicine came in. ( capsule vs tablet same med). We were very diligent on using in network services and they would apply deductables to out of network and rasied the deductable to over $13,000 yr.

I would cancel or not get this Insurance if you can avoid it. I use to repersent this company and sold many policies for them several years ago when I sold Insurance. Now, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I'm trying to find another option for our company for health insurance.  We are not the only one having problems with this company paying claims, We have others in our company with the same problems.
