Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

United Credit is a very heartless company.  They call and harrass you day in and day out.  When you make payment arrangement they take more than the amount that was agreed upon.  And when you confront them about the issue, they threaten to call your employee and garnish your wages.  I told the people I bought the car from three days after I got the vehcile that I was not interested due to the fact I had to go to Indiana to have surgery and will be off work.  They refused to take the car back and made the payment for me.  When trying to explain my situation to United Auto they told me that is not their problem and for me to borrow the money.  There should be a law against this company on how rude they are.

how dare they not be nice and cater to a bad debtor...just a little FYI for you...a western Union fee or Money Gram fee is a fee charged by the Western Union and Money Gram company not UAC...and if you were on automatic payments for UAC from Western Union ther eis actually no fee for that...only a $13.95 fee if you do it that way every mnth and then a late fee if you are late...you can go to their website and see that info...takes about 5 seconds...and they way you sound on here you are a difficult debtor to deal with anyway...your finance comapy is not burger king...its not your way...its your contract's way..going to a sub prime lender you will have stiff collections practices..if you dont like it join the Army and get covered by the SCRA instead of just FDCPA...but you might want to look up the laws on FCRA ad FDCPA

 Let's give you some facts...

First you do not make "payment arrangments" if you are making your payments on-time and for the full amount.  You ONLY make "arrangements" if you need to change what you had originally agreed to.

There is a difference between making the payments, and making the payments on-time and for the full amount.

You talk about Collection Companies.  Again, this is NOT a collection agency, if you are dealing with a Collection Agency it is again because you are not meeting your obligiation and were delinquent.

You can not have "automatic payments" set up if they only require you to pay by Western Union.   But if you say they are taking what ever they want.  Then if you have proof of what they are supposed to take in writting and they have withdrawn more then sue them.  But my guess is that you won't because you in fact were delinquent and have nothing in writing except for the original agreement which you are not meeting your obligation with.

When you sign on the dotted line, it is your car and there is no "Cooling Off" period, even if you decide 30 seconds later you don't want the car it is too late.  It doesn't matter if you don't like the color, figure you can't afford it, or end up being off work for a period of time.  Oh and this the same thing that would have happened at any other dealer you went to.

You are right, everbody can't be wrong.  But we are not talking about everybody..we are talking about YOU.  And in YOUR case you have shown nothing even close to a RipOff.

Oh and it is not a threat to reposess your car, and depending on your state to garnish your wages.  If you fail to make your payments they have the legal right to reposess your car.  They can then sell the car at auction and come after you for the deficency balance.  If you fail to pay this they can sue you and if you loose(which you probably will) they can depending on your state Garnish your wages or even attach your bank account(s) and withdraw the money you owe all at once.

As for a company being rude.  They made a legal agreement with you to loan you several thousand dollars.  Yes, when you loan someone several thousand dollars on their legal promise that they will pay you back at a certain time, let's see how nice you get when they refuse to pay you and instead give you excuse after excuse.

I do make the payments and its set up for automatic payments.  Before you send a comment make sure you have all the facts.  ALL collection companies are rude, but its againt the law to harrass people.  My issues with UNITED AUTO is they make you pay for money gram, western union fees... I legally agreed to one amount and they take what they want... That my dear is against the law... Its your job to stick up for your company... As a consumer one voice goes a long way... Including with the BBB... Lost of complaints... Everyone can not be wrong...

Ken

Let me guess, YOU'RE not making your payments as agreed to in the contract your signed...

Right?

"There should be a law against this company on how rude they are."

If "rude" was against the law, a VERY large number of people would be in trouble.  How thoughtless of them to call you and rudely ask you to live up to that agreement you signed.  They DON'T care about ANY of your personal problems.

They are almost certainly a sub-prime (deadbeat) lender and hear excuses all the time and just don't believe any of them.
