Ok I know it really sucked your bags were misplaced for 3 or 4 days... But they were found, with some damage. Sorry to hear about the damage, here's my suggestions... By the way I'm a layed off Airline emp of 8 1/2 yrs... My suggestion to you is contact UA Home Office by phone, fax and snail mail. Home offices aren't toll free as a rule. Write a letter to UA's home office and to the station manager whom you filed the baggage service claim with... I'm gonna be honest with you damage baggage claims can go good or bad. Good luck!!! Also, after you recieved your bag if you were delivered it by a courier and didn't file the damage bag claim with in 24 hrs in person UA is not at fault, and it states that on your ticket jacket...
