"Union Plus"(Household Credit Co.) Credit card company a rip off.
Purchased a computer last November and in the carton was a $400 rebate if I signed up for CompuServe. I sent it in and I was charged for a months service on my credit card with "Union Plus". I was never sent the $400 so after many calls and e-mails, I told CompuServe to pack it in and I was going to another provider. I signed up with them on the promise of a $400 rebate. They never sent it, so there is no contract. They keep billing the credit card company and THEY KEEP PAYING IT. Iv told the credit card company many times by phone and letter the charges are not authorized but they tell me they have to pay them. I think I will start sending bills to peoples credit cards and see if I can retire on cheating people out of money like Union Plus does. CompuServe is whole different story. Stay tuned.
