This company charged my credit card, when I called them to see who they were and how they got my information, the guy told me that some lady had called me the day before to verify.  I informed him that when she called me I told her, "I don't have time for this".  He said did you verify your name to her and I said yes, that I don't have time for this.  He then proceeded to tell me then verifying my name gave them authorization to debit my card for $19.99 which was some sort of free trial membership fee for something.  I once again, told him the same thing, i don't have time for this.  He once again proceeded to read me the terms of whatever the free trial membership thing was and to say that we offered you a $100.00 gas card.  Once again, I said to him, "like I told her last night, I don't have time for this and I didn't verify my information for her to charge my card". 



At this point I was so pissed at him and this company and my bank representative advised me to hang up the phone, because I had them on the line as well.  She advised me not to worry about it, that they would credit me back my $19.99, but I would have to disable my card and they would send me another one.  This sort of crap is ridiculous and I have no reason to say it's not me, I'm not running from anybody nor am I hiding from any creditors, but to say yes this is me that gives them authorization to debit my card.  But my question to my bank was how did they get my card number, and of course the bank was clueless of this.

I am an employee with Consumer Benefit Services, Inc., located in Naperville, IL. Cbsi designs and customizes discount benefit membership programs for separate third-party businesses. We solely provide the discounted services to the members registered in the program(s) owned by the third-party businesses.

The third-party businesses provide the program(s) to their customers as an added benefit or they market their private labeled program(s) to their customers as an opportunity to join their club. The customer service representatives in our call center only answer in-bound calls placed by members who are attempting to use the discounted services offered within their program. Cbsi does not bill, solicit or telemarket any programs to consumers.

United Benefit Advantage is not an independent business, but is a discount membership program that third-party businesses offer to their customers.

We want to ensure that all of your issues are resolved as soon as possible. If you were unable to resolve this matter, please call us at 1.888.255.4989 and a representative in our customer service call center will assist you and verify the status of your membership. At that time, our representative can determine the third-party business responsible for registering you into the United Benefit Advantage program and will connect you with them to address your complaints directly for further resolution.
