Twitter Blocked for "hateful conduct" with zero evidence; inquiries ignored CA San Francisco California
I used Twitter intermittently for over 10 years without any incident but in April, shortly after my last two tweets (Retweets of a memoriam to a recently passed MLB player and for Alzheimer's awareness), I logged in and was told my account was permanently suspended. Repeated online "appeals" generate a reply in literally minutes of the same form response, that I was blocked for "violating rules" against "hateful conduct" containing a laundry list of racial, sexual, LGBT and religious criteria. NO TWEET I HAD EVER MADE WAS EVER SHOWN TO ME AS SPECIFIC EVIDENCE OF MY PURPORTED "HATEFUL CONDUCT." I then took it upon myself to send a "snail mail" to Twitter's office in San Francisco referencing two of my ignored appeals and detailing my years of uneventful and completely non-bigoted and non-threatening use of Twitter and its failure to provide me with a specific indicator of what I did wrong. ALSO SIGNIFICANT IS THE FACT THAT TWITTER EVIDENTLY STOPPED NOTIFYING USERS WHEN AN UNRECOGNIZED DEVICE LOGGED INTO AN ACCOUNT IN OCTOBER OF 2017 AND IT SUBSEQUENTLY PUBLICLY ADMITTED THAT PASSWORDS HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED.
There has been no response to my letter.
TWITTER'S REFUSAL TO PROVIDE A PERSONALIZED, CASE-SPECIFIC RESPONSE TO MY ONLINE APPEALS AND TOTAL NON-RESPONSE TO MY LETTER IS A LEGAL ADMISSION BY TWITTER THAT IT HAS NO GOOD FAITH EXPLANATION OR JUSTIFICATION TO HAVE BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT. In other words, I was no doubt hacked, but Twitter is covering up its own security incompetence to silence responsible users and further potentially defame their character, since my Twitter handle still shows up as being suspended and could come up in anyone's background search.
