Truck Service of Florence Replaced RV batteries and starter NOT needed Florence South Carolina
Truck Service of Florence ripped me and my Insurance Co. off from start to finish. I never recieved an estimate before repairs were done so that I could see what was being replaced in over $6000.00 of repairs. My 8 month old gel-batteries that cost over $600.00 were switched out for 2 cheap batteries. I was charged $551.00 for a starter that had NEVER given me one day of bad starts. They had my RV for over 4 months and never tried plugging it in to keep the batteries charged resulting in my 4 rv house batteries discharging and eventually freezing during the extended sub freezing temperatures. O rings were replace with contacting me to explain why and NONE of my old parts were returned to me. They took the back bedroom apart and lost the aluminum molding that covered the sliding glass doors for the bedroom closet. When I paid for the work the day I picked it up it ran terrible all the way home. I called and took it back to them and they said it was the transmission and I had to take it to Alison transmissions in Columbia SC for repair. Alison checked it and reports transmission does not need repairs.
