January 2018, I contact G.Rankin (recommended) for credit repair. He would explain the company (Trinity Enterprises LLC) reputation for credit repair and they offered a refund if they were unsuccessful. I will admit this puts your guard down as I did no research and would later see the small subtle biblical verses provided by email signatures from everyone with Trinity that emailed me. G.Rankin advised it was 600 up front for credit repair and this would need to be paid before they would begin work on my behalf disputing errors on my reports. I paid 600 the last week of Jan 2018 and contract signed Feb 2018. A week later I was informed I would need to open an account with Identity Secure and provide a login and password, this was done immediately through email to same person who contacted me. This process would take 3 calls and I called to resolve.

A month later I received my first update on voicemail and there was no change as expected it was only a month. Next month same result, the following month I received in voicemail there was no change however a suggestion to open a secured card. I would call in and informed if I wanted to see an increase I should consider a secured card. Another call and contact the same message and I opened a secured Discover Card. Talked to G.Rankin and advised him of the conversation and what was suggested after months of no improvements. He advised Trinity suggests Open Sky as they don't pull reports that negatively impact your credit report. Why are your reps offering suggestions if they are ill informed to provide all the details? I would later get a call after another month none improvement, I should consider the credit booster program and if G.Rankin discussed with me.

He did not mention this to me and I would receive an email from the sales supervisor apologizing and she would have G.Rankin contact me. In his email he suggests we had this discussion, however I asked for me details. It's 1500 upfront and would boost your score, this is time sensitive and you are unable to make multiple payments. My question, if this was available and explained why would one decide to do 600 credit repair and just work towards the booster program as I was looking for quick results (home purchase). More questions would follow, are you able to provide some insight on the potential increase to my scores? If you are unable to provide an idea if this is beneficial why are we offering the program, I don;t see how paying 1500 upfront and Trinity was given 600 months earlier and no improvement.

After months of recognizing this company doesn't appear to hold themselves accountable for any of their poor or misguided actions, it was time to end this. I requested cancellation and a refund. I was informed by G.Rankin, Trinity services exceeded my 600 retainer fee. 225 and I was not due a refund. I asked G.Rankin to provide a breakdown of what was actually done by Trinity based on his number I should have 11-12 deletions per 3 agencies. This was not correct if I had that amount there would be no need to dispute what was actually done. G.Rankin would then suggest, I'm counting the word delete from the (spreadsheet he provided) only and not adding late payment history on the student loan and any late payments that are deleted are in fact counted as deletions.

So I emailed a pdf of the agreement I reached with student loan in Dec 2017 - Jan 2018 of payment terms and began payment on the account before Trinity (again working on approval for home loan) Finally, asked one last time if I was going to receive my refund and G.Rankin states because I ended cancelled before they could complete their last attempt I would not receive a refund. The company is a scam and they are cheating innocent people who want to believe these people are trying to help and keep their promise to refund. Be upfront with your promise. Their efforts have me in court with one credit card company, when I asked G.Rankin for suggestions on how I should handle this I was informed they could provide a letter for me to review before court to prepare for the questions in court the fee for this 125. Run, run, run and the business practice here should be investigated

All these "credit repair" games are BOGUS. If the information on your credit report is correct, it has a right to be there and will stay there for at least seven years. Any information which is an actual error, can be removed BY YOU FOR FREE upon verification.
