I have spent the past several hours reading the horror stories of Trek Alliance and I have one of my own. I joined Trek in the beginning of March. Here in Houston the branch is Gulf Coast Marketing. The ad I answered was "travel for fun". When I spoke to the person on the phone and asked about it he told me they did quite a bit of traveling. (Yeah right-traveling to seminars that cost a whole lot of money and suck) I went in for the overview and bought it "hook, line, and sinker". I bought a BIB which is a little over $2000. I spent 2 weeks "helping out in the office" waiting for the training at the end of the month that would teach me all the skills I needed to sell and recruit. My training was put on by Marc Accetta and the Leading Edge. It was the worst $250 I have ever spent and there was no refund offered. Thank godness it was in Houston and I didn't have to shell out travel costs. He is a funny man and if you're going for a comedy show than it is worth it but as far as sales and recruiting techniques I didn't learn a d**n thing.

I think there has been enough said about the ads and overviews. It is all true. They are very deceptive. Just look at the ad I answered.

Helping out in the office meant spending all day there trying to book people for the "interviews" and then playing receptionist

when the people did come in. I dedicated many hours for about 2 weeks for free. "All part of the training process"

Now the office isn't even there anymore. It looked like a tornado went through there. They are supposedly relocating to the Galleria. My sponsor is now in Oklahoma City suckering more people. I should have clued in that he was worthless and not making any money since he wore the same suit everyday!

I am very upset that I wasted my time and money! I hope the people who say Trek is about to be shut down are correct. They are so deceptive especially using so many different names.

I am going to try to send my products back to the company. What is the 70% rule?

Thank you for this site and people please beware!

How could I forget this? At the end of March my sponsor tried to get me to buy $2000 more worth of products. Since Trek has a $2000 limit I asked him how that could be done and like someone else had mentioned he just said he would resubmit an old id from someone who had signed up and quit to order more products. I did not order more! And yes the place is at Harwin and Hillcroft. Different crackhead though.

Allison, I was just wondering where the office was you went to in Houston? Was it around Harwin and Hilcroft. I also wonder if the guy doing the sales pitch at Trek was the same crackhead I saw? He's about 25, white male, short with glasses and total idiot. He talked about weed being the only herbal product he had heard about in college. I don't know if it's the same dude or not but it sounds like it. Take care. Trek Alliance SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
