Complaint Review: Treehouse Marketing LLC - Orem Utah

I received a email about the weight loss patch so I filled out the form and left my cell phone number. A girl (not sure what her name was) called me back in about 3days and told me about the program.

I told her I would be interested in the program and how much was it? She told me I would get a 3 month supply and that the cost was over $200.00 and I told her no way that was to much money and that I didn't have that kind of money to spend on something like this.

She then told me about a special offer that they had where I would a 30 day supply for $30.00 and if I was satified with the product then I could pay for it then. Unfortunately I believed her and gave her my credit card information over the phone which I will never do again.

The money was taken out of my account in about 3 to 4 days but I didn't receive the product so I called and spoke with someone in customer service and they said I should be receiving it shortly because the system showed that it had been shipped out.

I finally got the patches and I noticed that I had 3 packs of patches and I read the letter that was inside the packet and I didn't see anything that said I had to send anything back in 30 days nor was there an return address or envelope. I should have known then that something wasn't right with this company but I've only purchased a few things over the internet and never had any problems until NOW!

Anyway, on Jan. 17th (which by the way the 30 day trial period was over on the Jan. 12th) someone called my house around 7:30p.m. but I didn't answer because it came across as unavailable on my caller ID but the person left a message so I listen and it was someone from Treehouse Marketing telling me that I still owed $229.95 on the patches that I got from them and that the amount owed would be deducted from my account in 7 to 10 business days and if I had any questions to please call them and she said the number so fact that I couldn't figure out the last number she said.

Fortuately I had the packet the patches came in and called the number on the back I told the person that I talked with that I did not want the patches and that I would send them back because they were not working and for them not to deduct anything out of my account because the person that I spoke with did not tell me anything about this part. She told me that she would have to listen to the tape because our conversation was recorded and someone would get in touch with me on Monday and let know what happend.

Of course no one called some I called them again on that Tuesday and talked to another lady and told her my story and she said that she would check the recording herself and then she took my job number and said she would call me back which she didn't. Mind you I still had the patches waiting for them to tell me what to do with them then I got a phone call on Jan. 23rd from a lady asking if I sent them back and I told her that I was waiting to her from them since they said they have to investigate the tape and told her that I would putting them in the mail the very next day.

I got the address from her and mailed them on Jan. 24th. Now guess what happened I checked my account today Jan.31st and notice that my account was a little short... you guessed it they took the money out of my account anyway and I know they must have received the patches back by now. So, I just tried to call the company but their not open yet but I will be calling all day today to get my money back.

I hope this help others out their who are being scammed just as I was. For those who are planning on purchased anything from this company DON'T - THEY WILL ONLY RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!
