The following is a letter I sent to them after their third denial to make restitution for breach of contract. instead they seem to think that leaving my family and I standing in a hotel at 1a was a no harm no foul type of situation and think a refund (which I expressly rejected) is all they should do. There were no other hotels available so we had to drive back home over ah hour away after a day long music festival. then we had to restart our vacation over again with that loss of time and fuel and the emotional stress as well . . . I am still hurt and it was over a month ago.

Open letter to Travelocity:

Hello,

As I clearly stated to the "supervisor" who would not disclose his name or number The refund will not be sufficient to compensate me for the grief that your company has caused my family and me. If you will not deal with me in good faith or pass me off to someone who will then I must seek other avenues to facilitate recompense of Travelocity. The way I was treated by Travelocity, from the moment I began this interaction had been deplorable.

I have been told sorry by each of you that have spoken or written to me yet that didn't stop you breach of contract nor did it assuage the abandonment I felt waiting on the telephone in the lobby of the Knights Inn in Canton Ohio on June 22nd-23rd for over an hour. The sorry nor the refund even begins to make up for the drive back to Youngstown Ohio from 1am to 3:am and the pain and suffering that I incurred then your company failed to perform that which they had promised.

I am currently seeking outlets for my story on every level. That is not a threat. It is a fact that I think you should be fully aware of as I intend to relate the facts of this debacle to anyone who will listen including but not limited to friends, family, internet sites that I frequent like Yahoo and Trip Advisor, media outlets like newspapers and television. I am so thoroughly disgusted by the betrayal of trust Travelocity has perpetrated against me that I have to do my best to inform potential customers of the terrible service and real dangers they face when trusting the Travelocity and Kayak Brands.

Please know that this isn't personal even though you company isn't professional.

Kayak is no longer owned by Travelocity. It is now owned by Priceline. You could google for the owner before you post this. The information can be found on WikiPedia.
