Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Last year my dad contacted this company for help in relief of his past tax debt. They made promises of a brighter Tax Refund future. He sent all the required paperwork this company requested, to include his Form 1040 for 2004. We got a letter telling him that they had completed the tax resolution, or as they like to refer to it "The Plan". This lead us to believe the issue had been taken of and resolved.

Well. What do we find out when we file his 2005 tax papers? Not only has the IRS NOT received ANY paperwork from this company to resolve the past debt, THEY didn't even file the 2004 paperwork as they stated they would! So now, he finds himself in an even bigger bind!! He attempted to contact them using the phone number that was provided on his "Completion Letter" which is 1-800-499-7059, which they also toute about on their website, but that number is no longer in service. HMMMM! Makes you wonder, huh?

So, I find their website through a search engine and find the "new" number 1-800-564-9269, and also a "Contact Us" button. I send an email to this company, using their handy dandy "Contact us by email but we won't disclose our email address" button and anxiously await their response to this larger problem. We'll see if they respond. (Not going to hold my breath though.)

I fault anyone who falls behind on taxes to begin with, as usually, it is usually one of two issues that got them there. The first being laziness, and the second finding themselves in a spot of having to owe money and don't know where it is going to come from. But I fault these companies even more because they prey on these people and lead them to believe that they are the answers to their prayers. If you find yourself in this mess, I do not reccommend suing a Tex Relief Service, as from what I have seen through research, they are all a bunch of frauds.

Still no resolution after several months of playing phone tag with them. Supposedly the person who conducted the process on my dad's paperwork no longer works there. GO FIGURE!!!! But still, dragging their feet after dad told them he just wanted a refund of his money that he paid. Evidently, this request had to go in front of meeting. His taxes are now caught up, though not because anything this fraud company did, but because we paid the penalty fees involved with having filed his 2004 tax return late.
