Travelbridge ripoff Scottsdale Arizona
My wife and I attended a Travelbridge sales meeting in Scottsdale, AZ. were we had a high pressure sales pitch. We both were very uneasy about the whole thing but we felt like they would not let us leave, so we signed up with the intent of canceling the membership within the 3 day free look period AZ has.
I called and canceled the membership on the 3rd day and we thought that was that. Well, come to find out, they sent it to collections for the amount of $4,486. We are trying to purchase a house and my wife called the collection agency, Monterey Collection Service of Oceanside, CA. were she was called a liar and abused to the point of tears.
After reading all the statements from other people that got ripped off, I'm glad we didn't pay them a dime, but I would like to find out how to get that removed from our credit report.
