In Jan. of '98, I attended a seminar for Travel Navigator and signed up with their company. It looked like a good company so I paid their fee. You were supposed to be able to get your money back if you requested it within one year. I began asking for my refund at the end of Feb. 1999. To date, I still have not gotten it.
I went to a lawyer who told me to file for consumer fraud. Instead, to be fair, I contacted the company again and told them what the lawyer said along with the fact that he told me to request all monies spent in connection with them to be returned. This was in Jan. 2000, and the amount was $700.18.
I have copies of my e-mails and their replies. Most of the answers were that they were working on refunds and didn't know just how long it would be. They must have a lot of refunds. After my last e-mail in Jan., I have had no word from them of any kind.
