Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I sumitted my application online to get my credit report and paid with my credit card since October 2000. As of today March 20, 2001 still can't get it after 3 letters of complain. I paid $8.00 and got rip-off! You would think they care about their reputation, but I guess they don't.

Also, they know that I can't get my money back because the bank only charges back to your account if it's more than $50.00. How do they get away with it? There's no telephone number to call and talk to a human being all they have is an automated systems to instruct you how to pay for your report. My daugther was their victim too!!

Who can you trust with your credit report online? Feel very frustrated & violated.

There needs to be an agnecy that provides quality assurance over the credit reporting companies who can ruin your credit worthiness and make them accountable for correct information

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Deborah terpening Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: There is a major communication problem with credit reporting agencies. I also had a problem with this particular agency 2 of the other national reporting agencies. It is an extremely frustrating process to receive the information and the process to clear information is tedious. One would think that in this computer age the process could be more efficient. In order to clear a report it took me 6 months of persistent communication on my part and unfortunately I don't bother anymore and my report reads more like the Enquirer. I realize that companies need to check credit through some process but maybe the companies should therefore raise the bar on standards of reporting agencies. These agencies are very prompt at reporting negative information without the facts. An example is medical bills, consumers that are insured often have coverage but billing errors are all too often hard to clear and responsibility is usually directed at "computers". The outcome is usually a report to an agency and then the NIGHTMARE begins!!! There needs to be an agnecy that provides quality assurance over the credit reporting companies who can ruin your credit worthiness and make them accountable for correct information, timely reports, and a process whereby you can speak to a "human" for follow up on problems.
