This company price gouges, especially during Christmas time. They buyout hot items from chain stores and hold on to them until they can make as much as possible when people cant find them locally. When an item begins to sell, the price will be raised and adjusted multiple times (even on the same day) to take as much from their "valued customers" as possible. They intentionally advertise pre-order items that they know they will be unable to get just to bring traffic to the site, and also in the hopes that the customer will substitute for an item the company does have. I repeat: They advertise items they know they will not get, making customers wait months and months for items that are not coming. They get away with this by not charging the customer, however, it is advantageous for them to do this because they bring traffic to the site, and many people after months of exasperation just substitute for something else, (very often it is a grandmother or a parent buying something for their grandkids or kids) and they just order something their kid probably does not want.

The most galling thing this company does is pay buyers to buy products from Toys R Us and other big chains and hold on to them until Christmas time and then mercilessly jacks up the price when customers cannot find the items at their local retail stores. This company does a host of things that are not only unethical but sometimes bordering on illegal. Most of the merchandise they get is second rate and their spend a lot of time and effort taking photos of their items and then substantially altering and editing the images to make them look like a lot better than they actually are. This may be illegal, and if it isn't then it should be. This company has in place numerous technical policies that are set up to confuse people and stick them with unforeseen charges. Stay away.

Connection to an Employee

#2General Comment

Wed, January 23, 2013

I have a strong connection to a current employee and everything that I have just read is not only true but there is so much more going on with this company that is just plain wrong they should be shut down! Not only are they totally ripping off customers by buying items from outside stores like Walmart and Toys R Us and Game Stop and then raising the price x3 when customers can't find the product any where else, but they apparently screwed up a lot of orders this past December. Then lets talk about how the employees are treated..... total garbage! I have no idea how they get away with it! They rip them off every pay check, short them hours, don't give them there sick or holiday pay when they take off when they have it to use. I could go on but it's just too depressing. The job economy is so bad that the good employees can't just get another job and leave so they are stuck getting screwed for now until something better comes along. How does one prove that they aren't getting paid like they should be? Also I would quickly like to mention that the building isn't up to code, some how the fire martial seems to be looking the other way, if the right health standard companies were to come in and evaluate this building they would be shut down in a quick second!
