Touchstone Research Store Jasen, Molly Do NOT use Touchstone Research Group, New York, New York
On August 26, 2011, I contacted Touchstone Research group to quickly obtain a copy of my destroyed DD-214 for employment purposes. I was "guaranteed" on the phone per Jasen that my request would be processed within 3 business days. After a week went by, I email them again and received the same response, of :processing. Today, September 12, 2011 I contacted them again about the same issue I received the same statement: processing. This gentleman guaranteed that my request would be met in the time frame that I had paid for. I can't get them on the phone they will not respond to emails personally. I am out 89.99+ taxes, with out hope of return. I went to my Vet rep last week and he in fact told me that this was a scam and I should have known better than to trust an outside source.
Lesson learned. Do not use Touchstone Research, your Veterans representative should be able to help you with your documents needs with out an astronomical fee. They should be ashamed because they take advantage of veterans with high fees and empty promises. This is a scam!
