I called Total Maintence Care, Andre, to fix my refridgerator on the second week of May. Andre replaced the compressor that went bad in my fridge. The total for the service came to $230.00 plus a one year warranty on the compressor. About 24 hours later Andre had to come back to the house because the Fridge wasn't cooling properly. That was mother's day when he came out. He told my roommate he didn't put enough of coolant in it. About a week went by and I still wasn't impress about the fridge, I just seemed it wasn't cold enough. Also, the freezer seemed to be in a defrost state. It would freeze then it defrost. Of course I called Andre up to have him come out and look at it, I even told him I'll pay for his time. He decline that. He came out, looked at it and more or less told me I needed a new fridge. That it wasn't worth his time to fix it since he has already lost a profit. He also told me when I do get another fridge, he'll come out to take the compressor back and refund me $180.00 of my $230.00 bill. I agreed verbally.

I called Jim Conley Appliance Service to come out for a second opinion. He left a writton statement saying that the compressor was running very hot(and it shouldn't be), Suspected a leak, nothing was marked on what kind of freon was used and it looked like a used compressor. Andre said the compressor he replaced was new. I don't understand how a new product is rusted.

I went out to buy a new fridge at Jetsons. Andre came out to take the compressor and to refund me my $180.00. Instead he only gave me $150.00. I said to him he was going to give me 180 and he said he couldn't do that. That he has already lost out so much already. Well, that wasn't my fault, if he would've done the right the first time or have been honest with me this would have never happen. He started raising voice at me saying if I wanted to take him to small claims court go ahead and that his compressor is ruined now. Well, it is not my fault the compressor is ruined, I'm not the one who installed it. He tried to rip the refund contract, that I was to sign, out of my hands. I told him I'll sign it and collect my $150.00.

I'm not happy at all. He took advantage of me. I didn't want to settle for the total amount he had but he I just wanted to get away from him because he was losing his temper.

I hope you whoever reads this will do a further investigation on this person.
