I Paid Tod Buttermore for his service to build me a Cleveland custom aluminum engine block I paid a deposit for the block for him to start making the engine block for me. A year went passed as I kept in contact with Tod on his progress after a long wait for the engine to arrive which took over a 16 months before i received the block from tod.
soon as it arrived we noticed a few problems like the cam tunnel would not clean up to spec like he said it would so we had to machine The block for larger cam bearings at my cost also this meat I had to run a custom cam with larger cam journals at my cost again also the lifters need to be sleaved at my cost, the front of the block where the thermostat area is was deformed and there was a sump blot hole in the wrong place by about 10 thou out, also we found we had to run a custom gear drive because of the block and because the problems with the cam bearings so we assembled the engine block only to find that the Oil gallery had problems.
we found hundreds of small holes in the oil gallery the block was porous, so I contacted Tod to ask him if he would pay for the fix after all he was the one that presumably made and checked the block before sending it to me, after about 10 emails he said he would be willing to help with the problem but I have did not herd back from him so he decided to just forget about me.
I tried to contact him repeatedly but he did not respond so I decided to pay for the fix myself, so I got my engine Builder to strip down the engine at my cost and we found more problems there were cracks running down in every cylinder wall of the block this was unfixable ! so I tried to contact TOD BUTTERMORE but he just blocks me from his emails and could not care less about me or his product. TOD BUTTERMORE You should be Ashamed!
