After iI was without a car, i found a 2005 nissan for 2900.00 .I responded and the man brought it to my house for test drive. we worked  out a deal for the car for 500 down on a forty five day note. In order for me to take possession of the car he needed 500 down.  So i called titlemax and asked the worker about the two types of  flex loans.

I was told that the one that was not tied to a title is the one for me. the worker said that I could get 4 0r 5 hundred. she told me what to bring in and when I got down there, they denied me because of my low score, after a perfect record for over three years. I now avoid all lenders as such and so should you., I am still looking for a ride...

I am just going to be real straight here.   For you to be denied by them your credit must really be in the tank. These type of companies pretty much will approve anyone with a pulse.

If you didn't even have $500 cash for the downpayment you should NOT even be thinking about getting a car, so they likely did you a favor.

By needing a loan for the downpayment I can guarantee that in 45 days you would need to get another loan to pay off the seller. Becasuse if you didn't I can guarantee you that the seller would let you keep the car. In fact depending on your agreement if you don't pay him in 45 days he may go after you for Auto Theft.

The first time you are late on the loan because you had to pay for a repair, they will reposess the car. With a 14 year old car I can guarantee you that you will have at least one fairly extensive repair before you are able to pay them off. Even regular maintenence such as Tires or Brakes could run you several hundred dollars.

Now, I know none of this crossed your mind, and that I also is the primary reason your credit is in the shape it is.  So perhaps you are right, it may be best for you to avoid credit until you can get a better handle on what you need to do to manage it.
