I borrow $150 when she gave me my contract at the bottom it said that my payment will be $48 so I paid 50 over the phone. the next month I went in to pay my second payment which is $48 and I end up giving her $50 again and then I asked her what is my balance and she told me it was still $150. I asked her why is my balance still $150 she said I was only paying the interest and if I wanted to pay off the $150 I would had to pay $50 plus another 50 and that would bring my balance down to $100. so that meant the next month when I bring in $50 I would have to give her a hundred and that will bring my balance down to $50. so my last payment would be another $100. so the first $50 I sent her it didn't count because I only sent her 50 so that equals up to $350 I had to pay back but I only borrow $150 and she didn't tell me about the interest going to be so high. yes they are a total rip-off

What does the contract say?

The contract you signed would have to disclose the interest rate, the APR, the monthly payments and the due date. You should have a copy of your contract so you can see all the terms and conditions of your specific loan.

From your complaint, it sounds like you are only paying the interest due each month. Title loans have very high interest rates and you also risk losing your vehicle if you don't pay on time and as specified in the loan agreement. That is a very risky loan for you.  Do whatever you can to pay this off right away.  That means paying not only the interest due, but the remaining principal balance of the loan. In your case it sounds like you haven't paid the loan principal down at all. I don't have any relationship at all to this company or any other title company, but I know how loans work (in general). See if you can get someone to help you pay this off and get your title back.  From what I have seen there is no leeway in the repayment of these type of subprime loans. Do some research. If I were you, I would pay this loan off immediately.  Good luck.
