Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I bought a car from a family member knowing the title was in pawn with the intention on paying off the loan. Title Max preys on people who are clueless about these kinds of services. Anyway, The family member is very special to me and I wanted her car because it was hers. Its a very very nice top of the line beautiful car. I got up the money to pay what was due and to catch it up which was $400 then my next payment would be $198. Ok so a month rolls up and time to make a payment and upon running my card she states the $198 renews the contract and doesn't go towards the car.

I'm baffled O_o So I say ok explain that to me (never pawned a title before I don't do that I'd rather save then get a desperate loan) she stated the $198 is payment towards the principal and not the car. I reply, So Did she get 2 loans cause I'm confused. The $198 is only for the principal and not towards to getting your title back. I asked, how is that? She stated I'd have to pay $260 in order to work towards getting my title back.

She borrowed $1500 and the total with the fees and everything was $1800 give or take at 12.9% so if I pay $198 in the 12 month agreement they signed I will have paid $2376. And if I pay the $260 within the 12 month agreement I will have paid $3120. She stated the $198 was towards the pricaple only and that the price will not go down and I will be paying $198 every month till I die and never get the title back. REALLY? So I'm paying $198 to Title Max to rent my own car?

What do you mean $198 is for the principal only she borrowed $1500 and signed a 12 month contract and $198 in 12 months is well over the amount she borrowed and $260 a month for 12 months is over double what she borrowed. Is this crap legal?? So if I only pay $198 the balance will stay at $1800 and never go down? Is she confused or is she explaining it right? I'll tell you this much, if she is right, I'll rape that car of everything from the inside out sitting on bricks and tell them where to come find that m**o!!!!! Yall live to rip people off well here ya go Merry Christmas Title whores an empty bare car for you to recover. Think I won't? ?!! I can show ya better than I can tell ya!!!!! And don't come alone cause you can bet I'm gonna leave it in the hood!!!!

Yep it sounds like you go taken..not by Title Max though.  By your "very special" relative.  Your relative knew exactly what they were doing.  They not only got a $1200 loan from a company they got a relative of theirs to agree to pay off the title loan AND purchase this "top of the line" car(at probably over blue book value).     You see if you truly had all of this money why didn't you just pay off the title loan in one balloon payment?

So I'm paying $198 to Title Max to rent my own car?

- No you are paying $198 to Title Max to rent Title Max's car that your "very special" relative used to own, because until you get the title it is NOT your car..it is theirs.

I'll rape that car of everything from the inside out sitting on bricks and tell them where to come find that m**o!!!!!

- And they will reposess the car, sell it for a couple hundred dollars in scrap metal and then come after your "very special" relative for the difference in the loan.
