I found Titanium Transport when looking for a car hauler to transport my car from Louisiana to Arizona. They submitted a quote for $775.00 with the promise my car would be picked up between 1 and 10 days. They insisted on a $200.00 deposit with the balance of $575.00 due when my car arrived in Arizona. This company insists that you pay by bank check and the reason is you can not stop payment or dispute a bank check. The only way you can get a refund is by Titanium Transport. I booked and paid the $200.00 deposit to Titanium Transport on July 2, 2013. I called and emailed but never received any responses. On July 14th I received a call stating they would not be able to transport my car for the price they quoted and I was stupid to think it was even possible for them to transport my car for only $775.00. They said they could get it done for $1,300.00. When I stated that Titanium Transport is the ones who quoted me the price and if they couldn't do it for the quoted price then they needed to refund me my $200.00 since they are the ones who could not fullfill the contract. The representative then said the $200.00 was a non-refundable brokerage fee. When I stated the contract said it was a Deposit and the balance was due upon delivery. There was nothing in the contract stating the $200 was a brokerage fee. Then he got really nasty and said to report them if I was unhappy. He said Titanium Transport was a "Big Dog" in the car hauling business and I couldn't touch them. When he started getting really angry I terminated the phone call. Ten minutes later I received a call from someone who said they were a car hauler and not associated with Titanium but he was calling from the same area code....Da! He offered to haul the car for $1300.00, then $950.00, and then $900.00. I said if Titanium couldn't honor the quoted price of $775.00 I was not interested and would end up delivering the car myself. Titanium Transport will not answer phone calls, return emails, or return phone messages. This company is a total SCAM and a RipOff and needs to be stopped. If you have been ripped off by this company file a complaint against them at consumeraffairs.com, transportreviews.com, bbb.org, and centraldispatch.com. Lets band together and put this company OUT OF BUSINESS!
