...my NOW wife purschased a car from Thrifty Car Sales back in Dec of 2007, and he (Dan-Bo_Bogdan) he goes by many alias, sold her a car for $15,000.00 and the value of the car was only $11,000.00, but yet told her the value was $15000.00, but yet the car was sold for the exact same price at the original sticker price (new) 2 years prior, she was a niave struggling mother of 3, in need of a car...and he even convinced citifinancial to put the loan threw, can you smell a payoff, they were not happy about the actions of thiers either....i did contact their corperate office, (thrifty)and the NADA, and they were both diappointed of his actions, about a year after, when we went to trade the car in at another car lot, i then realized the scam...how bad yes was ripped off....so i went to him directly and told him of this, and asked him if he could make things right, or at least explain to me, why...he could not even look me in the eye, i told the secratary and his coworker of his actions, and they were at least sympathetic, he immediatly told me to get out of his office, and oh well, leave or i will have you arrested for tresspassing...so, being the bigger person, i left his property, i do understand my rights, and i will be contacting his corperate office again, the NADA and consumer services and maybe even the local news agency, and i have a group of us that are going to stand outside of his lot on a saturday, on private property, and hand out flyers of his scam....this is all legal, and i encouraged others to do the same, i would love to tell my stories to others, so, if interested please leave your info and i will contact you....thanx....for taking the time out of your day to read this, so yes you will NOT be scamed also....good luck....

Dan you are an idiot. We all know that you and Bo are brothers. I have bought 2 cars from Thrifty and was satified with both till i went to get a 3rd one and you wanted yet more money. Which i know for a fact you pocket. I referred 4 people to you that all got cars and gave you my name and never did i get my "referrel bonus"...i will never get a vehicle from you or Bo again. I never had a problem with any of my cars... i just have a problem with your empty promises.

I'm the last one to defend used car salesmen, but get real. Being a "naive mother of 3" is no excuse for not doing your homework before buying a car. Everyone knows you have to negotiate the price of a car. How can anyone possibly do that if they have no idea what the car is worth? With the Internet, you can get all the info you need in a few minutes. Most people are just lazy. The want the pretty car right away, so they don't bother doing their homework before signing on the dotted line. Instead, they trust that the salesman is going to give them a good deal (at least that's what they keep saying on this site). With the reputation that used car salesman have, why would anyone think this is a good idea?

...i was notified of this article from one of thier ex employees...i so agree with the comsumer, i also was very disrespected by BO-DAN or whoever else he goes by...and i do believe the comsumer, and not the fake one the they wrote up thierselves, to make it look good, i actually know an ex employee of thiers, and when they brought me to buy a car thier, i had to walk out and tell my friend how could you work for such scam artists, then i found out after they left thier JOB thier, that all thier cars are bought at auctions, and most are damamged, so always check the carfax report, because they do alot of illegal things at the business, i was told...but Karma will get them someday...it does eventually, and as far as the person that was scammed, if you somehow could leave some info when you are going out thier, me and my friends would love to come out some Saturday and help out...a couple of days and we could make him lose the thousands that you were scammed...and if they would of taken time out and actually read the complaint, they missed all the important stuff, like it was a mother of 3 and not thier mother, dah...and it was 1 year not 2, and when the NADA and the Corperate office doesnt agree with his actions, well, get the facts right, and also to the comsumer, i heard that 8 on your side is a place that love's stories like this, hope to hear of the saturday that you will be out thier, and my nieghbor is a cop and he said that it is all completely legal about your handing out of flyers, just dont go on thier property, and your can stand on the PUBLIC road thier as long as you want, good luck, not that you will ever see any money, but at least you will get a piece of mind, and cost him some, concerned friend of a friend...............

I have purchased 3 cars from Thrifty Car Sales, and I have always been satisfied with the service I received. Every time I have purchased a car from Thrifty Dan and Bo (2 different people) have always been patient, honest, caring, and helpful with everything I needed. None of the cars have ever been over priced and I have always gotten a good deal. I refer everyone I know to Thrifty and I will continue to do so. They are a great dealership and a great bunch of guys. I am sure anyone who has had a bad experience has brought it on themselves.

We are not the same person but two separate people, considering the fact that this deal is over 2 years old I am sure there is good reason for the selling price, your facts start off completely wrong so I am going to assume they continue that way. We do not take advantage of anyone; we do our best to make sure everyone gets a great deal on any vehicle they purchase here. You were never a part of this deal so jumping into it after almost two years of purchasing the vehicle it's tough for you to know what that vehicle is or was worth. The reason Bo asked you to leave was because the first words out of your mouth was "why would you take advantage of my mom, F YOU, F THIS, ETC." In any line of business speaking to someone like that is completely inappropriate. Your mother had a choice of purchasing a vehicle she made it without you. No one forced her! She came to us. We did not drag her out of bed make her come here and buy a car from us. The average profit on any car deal at any dealership is $2,000-$3,000 per deal. That is the industry standard. I make no were near that on every deal. Do you know Publix makes 200-300% mark-up we are lucky to get 5%... You want to complain, call Exxon, Publix, Wal-Mart Not a little dealership that does its best to make sure we are able to still employ people and not let anyone go in these tough economic times You do not know what you are talking about and are angry at us because obviously you cannot find anyone else to be angry at.
