think tek, t-rex ..not a reputable company. it's a rip-off
Think Tek placed an ad for a t-rex vacuum cleaner in the USAWeekend news magazine in our Sunday paper this last February.
I placed an order with the form they provided in early March.
I began calling and asking where the cleaner was starting in May. I have always had to contact them. They never contacted me.
Since May, I have been assured each time I have called that the product would be delivered in two weeks. Then they said they had 'supplier ' problems. However, my local drug store has them. Internet shops have them and promise quick delivery.
Think Tek cashed my money order on June 8th. After twice since then being promised that it would be in, and shipped to me in two weeks, I have now told them to send me a refund, plus interest. It remains to be seen what and when I will see anything.
Do not order anything from Think Tek. Do not believe anyone from Think Tek. They seem to think if they give the money back, 4 months after order is placed, they are off the hook.
Their company is in Parsippany New Jersey. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau in Parsippany. Also, I have written to USA Weekend and told them what happened and warned them that this is not a reputable company to take advertising from.

TRex is a great high-power hand vac. Made in France by Pensare. Suddenly Pensare stopped shipping the TRex model, no fault of TRex US. Now they ship Pensare Rocket, which is poorly made - low power, plastic catches that break, bad filter that leaks dust.
