I ordered a DVD player on 9/5/2000 anticipating shipment within 14 days. I complained after a month went by and received an email indicating the item was backordered.

Around 10/1/2000 they updated their order status page apologizing for the delay, promising that they were on top of the situation.

On 10/15/2000 they updated my order status page showing that as of 10/17/2000 my order would be fulfilled within 7 business days.

The website has not been updated since and it is now 11/7/2000 with no delivery. Repeated inquiries by me to them via email have either gone unanswered or been returned as undeliverable.

They offer no recourse for communication except to fill out their online form (which they dont respond to either - even though their website indicates they are a 7x24 operation and will respond to order status inquiries within a 2 hours.)

It is absolute fraud when a company, online or otherwise, advertises a price for a product, fails to provide proper notification of order status and refuses to communicate with their customers when their policy clearly outlines their customer service practices. Dont let their low prices fool you too. Pay a little more to a reputable business.
