I had just received a written invitation to join a very special group known as The League or The Secret Society. When you send in the card you "accept their nomination" and in return you receive a 56 page Orientation Booklet which is the first section of their 1200 page Manual of Secrets that will be sent later after you pay $139.95 for the Manual and shipping.
When I received the New Member Orientation package and read the booklet it was almost word for word the same as two previous packages I had received. The first package I received about 7 years ago was also for a secret society called the Nouveau Rich (not the League at that time). At that time I paid $97 for their 1200 page Manual of Secrets which I did receive. I am still waiting for all the good things to happen!?! I was also never invited to any "special functions.
The second time I received the invite, the name had been changed but the free Orientation Booklet was essentially the same - kind of like the one I just received. Nedless to say I did NOT send in money a second time even though the pitch they used is very seductive and really can appeal to your subconscious desire to make more of your life. It did bother me that the pitch made was so ego centric and that it was about receiving the riches, popularity, success and romantic love you deserve. Something definitely seemed wrong about that type of aspiration.
This past time is the third time I have received this invitation in the mail and as always you need to mail it back to a PO Box in Dallas, Texas. No person is identified and no physical site address is provided - after all it is a Secret Society. I sent for the free New Member Orientaion Booklet and sure enough it was basically the same as the first two with copyright dates updated to make it look new. I thought I was only supposed to receive one chance to join this elite group and if I did NOT respend within the short time limits provided I would never ever be invited again. Well this is the third time!! They must really want me - or at least my money.
Maybe that is the real underlying secret! Appeal to the underlying desires of unsuspecting recipients and make them feel honored to even be considered. In that way such people will send in their hard earned money in a hope something will miraculously change their lives. The stories in the Orientation Booklet are written to draw the reader in thereby subconsciously making them want to purchase the "Manual".
Even reading the booklet for a third time had a seductive influence on my desire to send in the money just to see if this time it might work. Reading the other Rip-Off Reports confirmed my decision NOT to buy the Manual and to write this report instead. I hope by sharing my experience in this report it might help others. As always "If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is not true." Our creator meant for us to share with one another and NOT to seek out worldly riches. My best wishes to all of you!!!
