The Pool Depot Of Texas - Global Sun Pools - Blue World Pools HUGE RIPOFF--SCAMMERS--FRAUDS-SELLS CRAP !! LOW LIFE SCUMBAGS!!! DallasDallas Texas*UPDATE.. Blue World Pools demonstrate their commitment to total customer satisfaction through the Rip-off Report Corporate Advocacy Program, the program that benefits the consumer & assures them of complete satisfaction & confidence. Blue World Pools considered to be industry experts at turn-key above ground swimming pool sales, finance, installation and service.
I wish we had found this website several years ago. I am terminally ill, COPD and I also have MS and injuries from a car wreck that put me in the hospital taking physicail therapy and water therapy 2 times aday.
After I got out of the hospital I still had to do water therapy which isn't cheap! Well STUPID ME (Cathy) saw an add on TV for a 15ft oval pool with everything needed supplied and more "free" items to go with it, so STUPID ME (Cathy) talks Tom into letting me call them up, as we thought it sounded good and would save me money by him owning a pool (I rent a house from Tom) instead of me paying for it every week.
Well they sent an older man out to the house to "talk" to Tom (and me) and tell us all about it... BOY are we FOOLS!! I really feel terrible cause it was me that saw their ad and talked my boyfriend into calling them.
They "talked" my Tom into what they called "a really special buy just for Tom because, I am terminally ill", they would Deliver the pool and a full deck with fence, locking gate,ladders, winter and solar covers, fountian, lights, pump and several other, prepare there ground and install their Very 1ST 2002 24FT round Pool FOR FREE.
All we had to pay for was the pool itself ($6000.00 total) and allow them to come out and show the pool to 3 families in a year and allow them to make a video for a commercial if they wanted too... also they had a 90 day deffered payment and no interest on it, all payments made would go directly to the principal balance.
I had to call and call and CALL them about sending us a notice for a date the pool payments were suppose to be made as well as how much they were suppose to be... They had told us they would mail us EVERYTHING WE NEEDED ASAP... we got the first, second and the third payment DUE NOW 3 months and 3 weeks late and all at the same time... which made the Full Amount Due for the pool and then some! Now over $7000.00 even though we were paying on it every month for years... it never went down just up-up-up!!!

Well needless to say, we said yes to it and were so excited that they were going to have it all done within 9 days of the date Tom bought it! NOT they were several days late and they sent 2 men out to level the ground and set up the pool... I have to be fair one man was a nice man but the other was drinking, cussing and throwing things and nearly scared me to death as I was home alone at the time!
They dug a huge hole and leveled the ground and went and got the sand (not enough for the job, which I didn't know at the time as we have never had a pool) and they put it in the hole and spread it out thin... the foot prints the man left were deep as well as the uneven pool floor, it has a few deeper spots in it.
They cut a main phoneline that went into our out building... they were good at hiding it... didn't know it till they left... now I know what the drunk guy meant when I over heard him say " what they don't know won't hurt us"!
They left us a huge hole all around the pool they didn't fill in and also a ton of beer cans and huge boxes, plastic, papper and straps..etc for us to clean up and one man took pictures of our old tractor and the house before they left they didn't take pictures of the pool at all... I was in tears from it all...
I called The pool depot aka global sun pools aka blue world pools and told them about the way things were done and not done and that they had cut a phone line... I got the run around and was passed from 1 person to the next and they made me feel like it was all my fault! The deck if you can call it that is a very tiny rickity peice of crap and no fence or gate either...
The day the truck came to deliver the decking the truck driver pulled up in front of my home on the road and came to the door demanding that I come out and unload it from the truck or he was going to dump it on the road and leave it... I called the company again and was told so unload it yourself... my young son was home at the time and he had to try to unload it all himself while the STUPID truck driver stood there and watched!
Now we are being sued in a week for over $7000.00 and we still have the peice of crap in our yard... oh by the way YOU DO NEED CHEMICALS, the Ionizer didn't last had to pay for another one alittle over $200.00 and we need another one!
Oh I forgot to mention this, they had left alot of screws out of the pool sides and had to come back to put them in and they placed the power boxes way to close to the pool (suppose to be atleast 8ft away to avoid being ELECTRICUTED ours is about 2 1/2 ft to 3 ft away and the pump has leaked from day 1. They won't fix it.
Also we had call them for 3 solid days telling them to cancel the pool and they said they would be out to get it within 10 days... they never showed up... (starting the day they installed it... got the run around as usual!)
If any lawsuits against them are started Please contact me We need a good attorney too... We are very willing to help stop these LOWLIFE SCUMBAGS! Cathy and Tom, LaRussell, Missouri
