Received a letter from THE LEAGUE signed by Tom (no last name). This 10 page letter speaks to me as if The League or Tom realy knows me.
They do not. They verbalize generalities about life that actually could be anyones. All people face illness, financial gloom and relationship issues. The
10 page letter preys on our own personal greed to desire much without working for it. Like in an instant, you are now wealthy. The letter goes on
about the secret society, it is made up of wealthy successful people who, like you, suffered from life in the past and now are
very wealthy etc Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla.
Without going on an on about the letter, beware. It is a letter that plays with your head.
It makes you feel special. It makes you feel that your problems are solved once you practice the methods that are 2000 years old. (Playing with
Christianity here around the time of Christ) The League promises you a 55 page booklet of secrets that will get you to the next step. It will
not cost you any money up front, but you must send back acceptance. A booklet is mailed back to you
and then you will receive an invitation to join and it will cost you $139. They call it paying it forward.
It is a shame that this organization, individual etc gets away with this form of trickery. The USPS allows this to happen every day, because our USPS
only delivers the mail...garbage! Actually, the USPS makes it possible for thieves to reach the people that fall for this. USPS is partially at fault.
In any event, do not mail back anything. They will continue to contact you with mail, telephone or fax or email. What ever information you give them,
they will use and probably sell your confidential information.
We should file a class action suit against this company THE LEAGUE and put a stop to his scam.
