I am an individual with disabilities. I was employed by Home Depot since April 2016, as a Sales Associate. In November 2019, I disclosed my disabilities to my employer and provided Assistant Supervisor Roxanna Colonna with a note from my doctor. At this time, I also requested a reasonable accommodation regarding assistance with the heavy workload as it created an extremely stressful situation which exacerbated my disabilities. My reasonable accommodation request was denied. Due to denial of my reasonable accommodation and the constant exacerbation of my disability, the work environment became hostile. On December 24, 2019, I was left with no other alternative but to resign my employment.

No reasons were given for the denial of my reasonable accommodation.

I believe that I have been discriminated against due to my various disabilities, in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended.

Furthermore, on my final day with this employer, as I was called into the office by management as they were aware previously that they received a certified letter via U.S Mail of my resignation, in the end they told me that I will never be allowed to be employed ever again at any Home Depot store. From time to time I've also encountered harassment from a few malicious coworkers which some of them were directly verbally abusive to me, & at other times they have spread negative gossip about me to either management or their own peers behind my back, resulting in the others they told the gossip to, has caused them to distance themselves from me. In this situation, management has also failed to remedy the conflicts that the responsible party had imposed on me.

The names of managers are as follows:

1. Roxanna Colonna

2. Jeff Bass

3. Leticia Garcia

I would say the reason the resonable accomidations request was turned down was the 3 1/2 years from when you were hired until you reported to your employer that you were disabled and "needed" the accomodations.  If you were disabled the entire time what changed that you were able to do the work until November 2019 and then weren't able to do it?
