Complaint Review: Terrie Annechino - Pottstown Pennsylvania

I was introduced to Terrie Annechino through Craigslist in her ad I responded to seeking Virtual Assistants for her TSE Group out of PE. Speaking with Terrie gave me IMMEDIATE red flags. I knew something was off about her when out of the blue, she gave me a call weeks after I submitted my resume to her, without contacting me first by email to formally introduce herself, and to schedule an interview timeslot on a date / time that would work for me. I find it very unprofessional when potential employers do not contact candadites before hand to discuss the job role, ect out of respect for their time.

Although that was the first red flag, I dismissed it as I really wanted to land a virtual assistant position. Terrie spoke to me for about 45 min grilling me about my professional background and expertise, but spent very little time discussing her Group and her background. RED FLAG #2.

Terrie went on to formally set a time and date to speak (2nd phone interview), where she again, tried to pull knoweledge out of me on scenarios and best practices that she could leverage from me and my expertise, that could help her business. I didn't want to go into details about marketing strategies that can enhance client's business, but she convinced me that she just needed to know how much I knew and that I could demonstrate my expertise through a set of "excercises". RED FLAG #3.

These excersices were lengthy and time consuming, as well as the conversation which took over 30+ min for her to explain (again, no respect for my time. The whole time she was constantly being redundant and talking too much about her personal life. Extremely unprofessional.

When I asked Terrie about the onboarding process, and the expected pay AND when work would commence if I were to be hired as a contractor, she got VERY ANGRY and BELIGERANT with me. She SNAPPED at me in a very anngry and experated tone, exclaiming, "You ASKED ME THIS QUESTION 3 TIMES ALREADY!!!!!!" #LAST RED FLAG.

In a calm and collected voice, I reiterated my question, which was specific to the onboarding process and when it would commence, to which she then said that I would be filling out "standard tax documents".

After her this response, I got quiet and decided to abrubtly end the conversation. Her tone was so disrespectful and I just hung up on her. I didn't feel it was fair to argue with a mental patient. From her high level of flightyness and her extreme mood swings, it appears that Terrie is extremely mentally unstable and disturbed.

She should not be seeking any contractors / employees to be working for her business. I knew from the onset she was shady, and decided to do a little research on the TSE business to see if it were legit. Her business website is old and outdated (shame...considering she claims to work with people in the areana of marketing, CMS and web design), and then I come across several complaints from former contractors airing out similiar grievances. I am glad I did enough digging (backed by my intuition) to cut communication immediatly. 

I never got the opportunity to work for her - so I dodged a mean bullet. I do advise anyone that comes across Terrie and TSE to RUN, DON'T WALK! She is a scammer and mentally unstable who uses a lot of abusive language (yelling!) when you asked her legitmate questions.
