Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This has got to be one of the worst wineries in California. The operation, management , and ownership is just absolutely dysfunctional, dishonest and disingenuous.

When we made wine there in 2014 and 2015, half of their Press and Crush equipment was broken at the time which resulted in grapes being left uncrushed for up to 24 hours. There are thermostats that did not work on some of the tanks resulting in tanks not getting up to temperature, their filtration losses were five to 10 times the industry norm, and their bottling line labeler was so antiquated it couldn't handle labels that every other winery and mobile bottling line seems to be able to apply without a problem.

Terravant was, and continues to be, investigated by the ttb for the excessive filtration and fining losses they claim, which probably end up in their private label and bulk program. (this is called conversion and theft btw). It certainly doesn't go down the drain! These people will rip you off, stay away!

The winery changed its name but there is no evidence of a change in their procedure of skimming the customer crush customers wines for their own bulk sales. Terravant changed to Summerland Wine Brands.

In addition to skimming thier custom customers' wine and defrauding thier suppliers, vendors like World Wide Wine Bottles had to sue Joe Padilla and Lew Eisaguirre for failure to pay for bottle shipments.  See attached judgement for $108,109. The total amount was actually over $190,000.
