Terminex It apparently takes 2 months + to get a refund or a manager call back Allentown Pennsylvania
In January we noticed a strange bug in my house after my fathers new aid from the county started coming. I called terminex and were informed we had bedbugs. I called the county flipping out as we never had any bugs ever before and were informed by terminex that they usually came by going on vacation( we hadn't), buying used furniture ( we hadn't) , hospitals or nursing homes( again no) or it could be the aid bringing them from other homes. The county agreed to pay half the cost of the extermination as the aid reported seeing them in another clients house. On February 4, I signed a contract with Terminex in my living room and handed them $800 in cash, the county was suppose to give them a check in the next 10-14 days for their share.
My father died 11 days later, so the county went back on their word and refused to pay. My daughter was dating a boy who's father worked for another exterminator, so he did the house for free. I called terminex on February 16, requesting a refund as the house was done and we no longer needed their services. I also explained that as my Dad had died the county had gone back on their word.I asked to speak to the manager at that time. They agreed to return the money and said they only sent out the checks on the 1st and 15th. The beginning of March they sent my deceased father a check for $800. My father had never had any contact with Terminex, never gave them money, signed a contract etc.
Needless to say since he was deceased, and no estate was left the check was useless. I contacted Terminex 15 times since then, have repeatedly asked for a refund made out to me who gave them the money and signed a contract with them and to speak to a manager and have not received the money or spoke to the manager. They have requested my fathers death certificate which although we don't understand but , we have submitted 4 separate times, they have give me dates that this check was supposedly nailed but it has never arrived. This company is a ripoff!!! They are unprofessional and take advantage of people.
