I paid for $24 hr website template installation by Templatetuning.com

They installed RUSSIAN???? template on my site, enabled the whole site, including the back end in Russian.

I wrote back for them to change it -- I was told to use a drop-down menu. When I changed that menu - no option for English even existed there! I wrote back - no response for 2 days.

I had to re-install &  reconfigure everything myself.

When I requested my refund - they said that they did install it & I shoul've not touched anything for them to fix.

I spent whole weekend on this template installation. I wanted to go fast & I paid. AT the end, I spent my precious time fixing their errors.

 

Won't reimburse. THe tech support is extremely rude & won't admit their error.

My name is Emma Barnes, I'm the Customer Care Manager of TemplateTuning.com. I would like to file a rebuttal to this complaint and restore the reputation of our team.

I addressed the case immediately and assisted the Customer prior to the submission of the complaint here.

The installation of the purchased multilingual template was completed fully and according to the deadline. We have records and screenshots as a proof of no files missing, as the Customer stated.

We admitted right away that Russian language was set as default during installation by mistake – due to internal system error, which mistakenly marked the order and purchase as Russian locale.

The language can be easily changed via admin-panel with one click, the function of language change is of website administrator. There is no technical need to re-install the template from scratch, as the language can be changed in admin-panel. Unfortunately, the Customer did not receive the response from Project Manager within 2 days due to the fact that the latter is off on weekends. Unfortunately, there was a lack of immediate response due to this reason.

We value all our customers and are always ready to provide the assistance. We were open to investigate the case with CEO and Senior Customer Care Manager to find an amicable solution, but from the very beginning the Customer started threatening us:

“I have opened a complaint about your business with BBB, if it says anything to you. I am

talking to PayPal about fraud charges by your company. So, let's resolve it all nicely, or I will open a fraud case with the police as well & your office on Sheepshead Bay will get raided. I expect a refund from your company within next 2 hours. Or, I will call the police.”

We are not fraud company and we processed the refund immediately, though the service was delivered.

The money was reimbursed, though the result was delivered. We consider the case to be closed, as we did our best to find an amicable solution.

We hope that such cases won’t happen in the future.
