TEI Thornock Trucking, Inc./Mike Thornock ripoff Trucking Company does not pay independent truckers, then hides behind bankruptcy protection Billings Montana
TEI Thornock Trucking Inc contracted a number of truck loads of used clothing to our trucking company. We picked up the loads in Billings Montana and delivered them to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Things went well for the first few loads, then we weren't receiving payment on time. Our credit terms were thirty days. Soon their accounts were overdue 60 days and more. We stopped hauling their loads as we felt we were never going to get paid for the work already completed. At one point we picked up one more load hoping to hold it hostage in exchange for the money owed to us.
Mike phoned us and "cried the blues" that his customer was refusing to pay him unless he got the load that we were holding in our yard, and that if we didn't deliver, he wouldn't get paid, and he would therefore not be able to pay us. We felt sorry for him, and delivered the load, hoping he would pay his account in full 15 days after this final delivery, according to our agreement in releasing the load. Obviously his word is not to be trusted. We have never received payment, it's been a couple of years, and they owe us over $3500.00 U.S.D. and now they're hiding behind bankruptcy protection laws. All trucking companies, and independent operators beware!!! Leave their freight sitting on the docks so that you too, do not get ripped off.

TEI Thornock Trucking no longer exists at this address. He sold this real estate a year ago. I do NOT know where Mike Thornock is. He loaded his stuff in his truck and left. I am sorry, but if I continue to get calls looking for him, my hostility may run down the phone lines and spill all over the caller.
