I won't go on a rant here, but I need to confirm that TD Bank is truly out to screw over their clients.  They had switched transactions on me to collect more overdraft fees.  My solution....call them out on their "bad practices" and switch banks!  Immediately!!!!!  There are good banks out there in the Mass area, like Eastern Bank, First Niagra, always stick with the smaller banks as they are more professional and care about keeping their customers.  Even Santander bank, which used to be soverign is offering 20 a month to your checking if your direct deposit is around $1500 or more a month!  It may feel like a pain switching everything over, but for the 30 minutes it takes, it less stress in the long run.  Enough people do this and TD Bank will soon change their ways.....only one can hope.

The ONLY reason you have overdraft fees is because YOU gave them to yourself by NOT keeping written records and a current running balance.  Sorry, there's NO SCAM here and NO GRAND CONSPIRACY to "get you".  Want to eliminate these fees?  Then keep written records, maintain a RUNNING BALANCE.  It works each and every time.  No, I don't work for them!
