The "tax relief" cons at tax defense network lied to my wife and myself promising that the "special" relationship they have with the IRS would get the 64,000 in back taxes + penalties + interest  i owe (and still do) knocked down to under 10K.  All I needed to do was pay them $9,000  They explained that the lawyers they have on staff have worked with the IRS agents and the close relationship allows them to "pull strings" and get things done that nobody else can.. The false promises and willingness tell us things that they had to know were false made me believe I was getting a heck of a deal.

The truth of the matter is I owe more now than before and did not get into any IRS program or get any relief at all.  For 9000 bucks I got four telephone calls, one with an attorney that I latter found out has just graduated from law school and passed the bar less than a year ag. The  "expert" attorneys at Tax Defense Network I have found out have had law liscenses for a company average of less than 2 1/2 years. The most  Senior attorney in the entire company has only had a law liscense for 5 years and is not even allowed to practice law in the state he lives and works (PA).  I should have done  more research before I fell for their telemarketing pitch....They are a smoke and mirrors show with no intention of doing what they promise...It was a very costly lesson for my family. I hope these crooks get exposed for what they are...CROOKS

We have concluded our investigation into this complaint and deem it to be fraudulent.  No further action will be taken and the matter is considered closed without warrant or validity.    

 

Our process in handling complaints involves an immediate, five step in-depth investigation, incorporating information technology, telephone communication, email correspondences, assistance from the BBB where applicable and, most importantly, an open dialogue with the client.

 

Each step of the process has been done in accordance with our policies and procedures. This alleged “client” failed to provide any evidence to show they engaged our company to provide tax services.  Therefore, we conclude that by placing false information about us online, this reviewer committed cyber fraud.
