Target.com advertised small computer for $199 online and said only available in stores. Website then directed me to the nearest store that had merchandise in stock. Went to store and was told they had none and did not have any at all that day. They then refused rain check and refused to let me know if and when more stock would arrive and told me that Target.com and Target stores had no connection to each other. The website purposely sends you to a store to buy something that they never had to begin with and then refuses to accept any responsibility. I took this complaint up with every person in that store and then with Target.com and then with target Corporation and no one at any level would resolve this issue and made the same claim of no connection of stores and website, thus admitting that this is a fraudulent way to drive customers into the store for merchandise that is not there, hoping they will then shop. I made it clear to everyone at every level of customer service at Target Corporation that after shopping there regularly for 45 years that I would never do so again. They did not care. Target used to have the best customer service of any business and now has none whatsoever. WalMart has won over my business from here on.

This my attempt at understanding you, it is unpleasant to be mislead about how target operates, or to get fair and reasonable service. They should of explained things better for you, if they did not, they should of directed you to another store, or looked yourself for another target store, if you could, if available. Its strange this would happen, when other people have pronlems and they solve there problem, yet not yours. Some times the voice of reason is not there for some people.

Target stores workers have problems too, its possible your not the only one that was without reasonable service, it happens to target workers sometimes, it depends on who helps you and who the person doing service is, some polices can never be broken, yet some people do, or do not.

How is that for service, some other name brand store took back a car tire, they do not sell tires, they sell clothes, how were they talked into that, I do not know.

Target stores had a much looser policy near 10 years ago, if they sell it, you could return it there, without a receipt, and several other policies too, Here is a example of service gone wrong - I tried to buy another clearance VCR back then from another target, yet this person sold me a VCR without the remote, it was placed with it, yet the fact is I saw this person hold and put back the remote in the cabinet, nothing I could say or do, would help get what rightfully belong to me, the remote control would of been thrown away, because after they sold me the VCR they had nothing to use it with, I looked, there was no other one to use it with.

I am sure rainchecks do exist, I see then in serveral places in the store, yet I think they do not exist for things that can not be restocked, for good reasons. What I am not sure about is, if all things in the store, if out of stock, can have a raincheck.

I'm glad walmart has won your business over. Maybe you'll find something to disagree with, with them, and you can get fed up and call Walmart a scam too.

I think I'm going to go to burger king tomorrow and tell them their fraud. Their burgers are not as good as they look in the picture. Also their not really a dollar

Also I went to taco bell, they did not have the strawberry freeze like in the picture. This is fraud, I let everyone in the taco bell store know this is horrible to advertise something they dont have.

Can I tell you something? Target employees, are going to have no idea what your blabbering about. Contact target.com and tell them this is not in the store where you are located, and you'd like something done about it.

Otherwise contacting target the store it self complaining like a crazy penny pincher is not going to get you anywhere, but a little kid in a red shirt stating "i dontknow"

Give Walmart your business, I'm sure you'll find something you can complain about with them too.
