Safety? No problem. Security? No problem. Illegal activities? Lock 'em all up! But tell you what Hilde, we'll start with YOUR house, YOUR cars, YOUR office first. Is that OK? And never mind that small technicality known as "probable cause". I'm assuming that either you don't understand it, or you don't care. Either way, it shouldn't matter to you. I'm all for protecting the children, but what you fail to acknowledge is that CPS is damned near as powerful as the IRS. They are investigator, arresting officer, judge, jury, and executioner - all rolled into one nice tidy package. Yes, they do good work, but the vast majority of the complaints come about due to the over zealous cop wannabes who are on a power trip of their own. If you think otherwise, that these bad apples truly care about the kids, you are either extremely gullible or simply a fool. Furthermore, they have placed our health care professionals in the position of reporting anything even remotely suspicious - or they will prosecute them as well. You seem to favor such Orwelian oversight - I hope you get to experience it first hand someday.

I have had some experience with child protective services and know first hand that there are over zealous workers who for whatever reason maybe because they just dont like your lifestyle make wrong decisions. I feel the child protective services has not worked in quite some time the whole system needs an overhaul! I was a foster parent for several years before I figured out that maybe just maybe every kid parents up for adoption that came through my homewere not the devil . Everyone has a story.

Oh no!! People concerned about the welfare of children!! What bastards! When everyone knows, you can just ask someone "hey, are you mistreating your child or placing them in an unhealthy environment?" and they will give you an honest answer. THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR INCONVIENCE OR BRUISED EGO
