Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I signed up for the service in Sept 2002 and after I was assured it would work in Bayfield County Wisconsin, I found it would not. It did not come close to the area I needed it to work in the most. I called and was told it was my problem and that I could cancel the account but they would keep my $200 for early termination. I explained they lied to me that it would work and the service was useless in the area I needed it. I spent $130 for the phone also, only to now have a new phone that is also useless.

I called again to get the service reduced only to have them not do it and was charged at the higher program. It took more than 5 phone calls to get the service terminated and they waved keeping my $200, and gave me a FINAL bill amount of $109.31 which I sent in per the T-Mobile rep. I asked him more than once to verify the amount I was to pay to finalize this account. He assured me this was the complete total balance due to clear my account and he closed it that day.

I NEVER received a bill for the $25.71. I gave T-Mobile my change of address on 9/24/2002 when I sent in my bill for that month. I also verified it with the man I spoke to the day he gave me my final bill amount. IF they sent it to my old address it would have been forwarded to me as I have a Post Office forwarding that has sent me other things from old address. I again NEVER received a bill for $25.71. I called the First collection agency to explain this and was told they did not care just send them money. I then called T-Mobile and was told once it went to collections I was out of luck, and to just pay the bill. I then notified The Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint.

Sometime later I received a call from someone rude at T-Mobile who wanted to discuss the BBB complaint. I again explained all the problems I had with the company and that I was told to pay only $109.31 and I had a phone that was no good either. She was short and rude and told me I was wrong in stating the rep told me the things I said and he did not put into notes in my file of such things. I politely told her I did collections and I was not excepting her response to the problem. I kept notes and I know what I was told. She mainly told me I was wrong and I needed to pay the $25.71.

I at this point politely informed her I did not want to discuss this any further as it seemed they did not want to work with me at all, pay or go to collections. I do not owe any money to this company and I feel I was wronged from the start as to the service they provided.

In the last 2 years they have sent me to at least 5 collection agencys. All these agencys have never contacted me a 2nd time once they receive all the letters I have showing my claims. I have forwarded all to the Better Business Bureau. The war is on...

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
