Went to this company for help with lower our mortgage. I have a husband dealing with a stage 4 diease. They lead us to believe that they would get our house payment lower. We started with them in June 20 2017 paying them 775.00 dollars a month. We were told we would get weekly phone calls with updates or to let us know what info the mortgage needed to go on. We did everything we were requested to do. We did not get update phone calls from them. They would only call if I called them demanding an update. So in Sept I started demanding to talk with this attorney cause I was not feeling good about how they were helping me.
I was told on three different times a lawyer would call me but did not. So we went to my husband bank to stop any payment to these people. Cause our mortgage company said they had not been talking with them since June 20 to say they would be assisting us with our home. The bank put the last payment back in my husband account and filed fraud. Then on 12-11 the bank gave the money back to them after every thing we showed and said to them about this company. I feel all this will cause my husband illness to get worse. This company has not done anything but stole our money and has cause unnecessary stress on us. I feel we have been scammed and fraud right out of our home. I am begging for any help I can get and want to warn anyone that falls in my shoes not to go with this company. If I had only knew to do my research on here I would not have gone with this company.

The exact same thing that happened to this lady happened to me as well. I had grown fustrated with the lawyer I had handling my case in bankruptcy when the court notified me of the case being dimissed after going thru the pain of paying back all my bills thru bankruptcy and getting the notice that i had paid everyting back only to get a letter from my mortgage company that I still owed them 20,000.
I contacted my lawyer to find out what was going on and decided to try for loan modification thru him, it was pure frustration to think all my bills were paid off, so instead of going thru him after paying him his fee, looked over the internet and found this awfull legal firm and called them.
Talked to a legal assisstant who assured me that it would be taken care of, told her that they wanted the modification notice within 10 days and that foreclosure sale was sceduled by the end of the month. I had lived in this house for 26 yrs, lost over 60,000 in equity.
Never got a response to the modification and had continually called these people to find out the status, then on a monday as I was heading to work got a call from them asking if I was near a computer, told them no as I was heading for work. Asked her why and she said it was sale day, I was furious with them, they had ample time to take care of it and didn't, she claimed they couldn't find a local lawyer to handle it.
So I told her I would head back to my house, then the girl called just as I had arrived home. told her to call me back in 5 min.. When she called she asked me a few questions, I answered them and told me she would call back, that went on for the next 4 calls, ask questions and call back.
finally she started sending me legal forms to take to the bankruptcy court and file, i was having trouble with my printer before i finally figured what was happening wih it They had a deadline before the house goes to sale, I asked her what the deadline was and I told her i would never make it. I immediately left with the forms, got to the courthose and late.
The clerk asked me what time I was to be there and told her that I was probably 15 min late, she said the judge would probably dismiss it. All those years I worked 50-60 hrs a week to pay for my house, then the economy tanks and i lose my home thru no fault of my own only to be scammed by a legal firm who does no work, they make their money the easy way.
What happened to this lady happened to me as well. It would be nice to hear from an honest lawyer working in that area to file suit for me for malpractice!
