Sydney Hare took advantage of my small business by demanding a significant refund and threatening us with a bad review if we didn't oblige. We're a small business (rated very highly on all of the major review websites) and didn't want the bad publicity. In an attempt to not pay for the service rendered (alterations), Sydney fabricated a story about how her dress was damaged by some water stain (likely caused by herself). Since we didn't want any problems, we maintained the 'customer is always right' mentality and apologized for Sydney's experience.

We also gave her a significant refund. We weren't happy about losing money on this customer but we thought we had reconciled the situation (or so we thought). And then about 6 months later (to our great surprise), Sydney Hare wrote a scathing 1 star negative review of my business on Yelp. We've made many attempts of reaching her via email and phone and she continues to ignore us. She was also extremely rude and inconsiderate in her emails, in-person and phone communications with my staff. Based on our Company's experience with Sydney, I would be weary of doing business with her.
