Good Afternoon Bruce3404,
My name is Jennifer and I am the Head of Customer Service for SwipeAuctions. I am very sorry that you feel misled by our registration page as that is not our intention. We do have a disclosure directly above the "Start Bidding" button which finalizes the registration to notify customers that they will be charged.
If you are still looking to receive your refund or have any other concerns I would be more than happy to assist in providing you with a positive resolution. Please contact me personally at [email protected] and please include your first/last name, user name, email linked to the account and the link to this post.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Regarding,
Jennifer

The exact thing happened to me last week. Luckily, my bank's fraud dept called me to see if I was aware of the charge. Of course, their fine print may say $159, but I didn't see it. It took almost 6 days to credit me my $159...No matter how tempting it is, don't. I would like someone to comment that actually bid for an item that was way over $159 joining fee!!
